On Wednesday 1 March and Thursday 2 March we received a visit from two inspectors from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). They were here to carry out a Regulatory Compliance Inspection (RCI) - which means 2 days in school inspecting our compliance with the 8 parts of the Regulatory Requirements (170+ boxes to tick). RC judgements are relatively simply explained as 'Met' or 'Not Met' which doesn't always cover the depth of detail needed to meet them or the amount of work needed to ensure compliance!
We are absolutely delighted with the results of the inspection, which confirms that we meet every regulation fully, with no need for any actions or recommendations.
Our next inspection will therefore take place in three years' time and will be a different type of inspection altogether: Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection (FC/EQI).
Copies of the RCI report have been sent to all parents and there is a copy on our website. Although short and sweet, the report endorses what parents need and would want to know: that the environment in which their children work and play is safe and secure and that the curriculum and activities they enjoy each day meet every regulatory requirement. Very very well done, Team Fairfield!
